چکیده
Bacillus siamensis LDR was tested for its potential as a biocontrol agent against the phytopathogenic fungi Curvularia lunata BM and Ganoderma sp. TB4. Fermentation of B. production antifungal compound performed in modified Czapex-Dox broth using hanjeli ( Coix lacryma-jobi L.) starch carbon source. The inoculum 10 5 CFU/ mL, fermentation conducted up to 16 days. Antibiosis assay test activity filtrate medium. results showed inhibition C. TB4 were 47.08% 85.99%, respectively on 14 th day fermentation. Antifungal crude extract from medium revealed growth (60.70%) (65.25%). Thin layer chromatography pink-colored spots indicative lipopeptide compounds. Analysis by ultraperformance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry tentatively identified iturin A, bacillomycin F, surfactin.

Diffusible and Volatile Antifungal Compounds Produced by an Antagonistic Bacillus velezensis G341 against Various Phytopathogenic Fungi
The aim of this study was to identify volatile and agar-diffusible antifungal metabolites produced by Bacillus sp. G341 with strong antifungal activity against various phytopathogenic fungi. Strain G341 isolated from four-year-old roots of Korean ginseng with rot symptoms was identified as Bacillus velezensis based on 16S rDNA and gyrA sequences. Strain G341 inhibited mycelial growth of all phy...

From centuries human has been afflicted by urinary calculi (Urolithiasis). These calculi are formed from crystal aggregation and retention in the urinary tract. The incidence and prevalence of urolithiasis may be related to various factors including age, sex, ethnicity, diet, fluid intake, genetic predisposition, climatic conditions, and urinary tract infections. Study of chemical composition a...
متن کاملNeutralization of Naja naja venom induced lethality, edema and myonecrosis by ethanolic root extract of Coix lacryma-jobi
Coix lacryma-jobi, commonly known as job's tear, is a tall grain-bearing tropical plant of the family Poaceae. The ethanolic root extract (ERE) of the plant was investigated for the first time for anti-venom activity against Indian cobra Naja naja venom. In-vitro studies were conducted to determine neutralization of phospholipase A2 (PLA2) activity of the Naja naja venom by the ERE. ERE showed ...
متن کاملAntifungal activity of recombinant rice LTP2 on some phytopathogenic fungi
Plant lipid transfer proteins (LTPs) are members of the pathogenesis-related proteins (PR-14) and some of them exhibit activity against phytopathogenic fungi. To investigate whether rice LTP2 plays a role in antifungal activity, the coding region of an Iranian rice Ltp2 gene was cloned into expression vector pET24-d(+) and then expressed in Escherichia coli Rosetta strain (DE3). The potential a...

Indigenous actinomycetes isolated from rhizosphere soils were assessed for in vitro antagonism against Colletotrichum gloeosporioides and Sclerotium rolfsii. A potent antagonist against both plant pathogenic fungi, designated SRA14, was selected and identified as Streptomyces hygroscopicus. The strain SRA14 highly produced extracellular chitinase and beta-1,3-glucanase during the exponential an...
